Code2Create 7.0 is ACM-VIT's legacy 48-hour national hackathon and one of VIT's largest student-led technical events, bringing together talented students from colleges across India to innovate, collaborate, and build solutions that create real-world impact. Built around the theme of turning ""what if"" into ""what's next"", the hackathon provides a platform for aspiring developers, designers, and problem-solvers to transform ambitious ideas into functional technology solutions. Over the course of 48 hours, teams identify meaningful challenges, design innovative approaches, and develop working prototypes while receiving continuous guidance from industry mentors and experienced reviewers. Through multiple structured review rounds, participants refine both their technical implementation and problem-solving approach, with feedback focused on innovation, scalability, usability, and real-world applicability. The hackathon welcomes both software and hardware projects, with teams undertaking hardware solutions bringing the necessary equipment to support their builds. Designed to be accessible to both first-time hackers and seasoned competitors, Code2Create fosters an environment of continuous learning, experimentation, and collaboration. Beyond the competition itself, participants gain invaluable experience working under time constraints, exploring emerging technologies, collaborating with like-minded peers, and presenting their ideas with confidence. General Guidelines for C2C 1. Projects should be developed from scratch during the event to keep things fair for everyone. 2. All code is expected to be written during the event timeframe. 3. Teams should work independently; outside help or cross-team collaboration isn’t allowed. 4. Interfering with or disrupting other teams’ work is not permitted. 5. Projects must not include offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content. 6. All team members are expected to check in at the venue at the scheduled time. 7. To keep the space clean, food and drinks should be kept outside the working area. 8. Participants who need to leave overnight should request permission in advance. 9. Projects must be submitted before the official deadline to be considered. 10. Judges’ and organizers’ decisions will be final. 11. Participants are expected to behave respectfully and professionally with everyone. 12. Disrespectful or inappropriate conduct may lead to consequences. 13. Use of AI tools is allowed. 14. Teams must share links related to their product (e.g., GitHub, Figma) for review.
