CodeXcape is an enthralling 24-hour competition structured around three distinct rounds and a strategic currency called MozCoins. The event begins with a trivia round, "Jeopardy," where teams accumulate MozCoins by correctly answering questions of varying difficulty. Next, in the "Scotland Yard" strategy round, teams play as detectives or an imposter, earning coins based on their ability to track or evade, and can spend them on tactical advantages. The final and main event is the Hackathon, where teams use their accumulated MozCoins to purchase critical resources like new problem statements, mentorship, or time extensions. A team's final victory is calculated with the hackathon project heavily weighted at 80% of the score, while their leftover MozCoins account for the remaining 20%.
